“Mummy” Dogs Recipe

With Halloween just around the corner, I love finding fun things to do with my kids that are age appropriate! This was super easy to make and my kids loved helping me wrap the mummy dogs!! We made these for dinner, but they would be great as Halloween party appetizers!

  • 1 pk of 8 Hot Dogs
  • 1 roll of Crescent Rolls
  • Mustard for garnish
  • Sliced Cheese if desired for garnish

Preheat your oven too 375 degrees.

Separate the 4 sections of crescent rolls (should have 4 rectangles). At the perforated seams, press the edges together to form the rectangles.

Use cooking scissors, a knife or a pizza cutter to cut each rectangle section into 10 strips. You should have 40 total strips.

Wrap 5 strips around each hot dog and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake for 10-15 minutes or until crescents are golden brown.

Dot 2 drops of mustard at one end for the eyes.

Place 1/4" strip of cheese on top to look like a bandage (Optional)!

Serve warm and enjoy your "mummified" dinner!

These are so cute. I’m pretty sure my kids would love these. I’ll have to write down the supplies so we can have it soon!
