Black Bottom Cupcakes

Black Bottom Cupcakes are one of my favorite cupcakes! I love cheesecake and chocolate so it’s combined goodness! The best part is that it’s super easy! This recipe is made with cake mix so there’s no extremely hard recipe to tackle!

Black Bottom Cupcakes


    For the Filling:
  • 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese filling
  • 1 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips
  • For the Cake
  • 1 box of Devil's Food Cake Mix
  • All ingredients listed on the box



- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

- Line 24 cupcake pans with liners.

For the cake:

- Prepare cake mix as directed on the box.

- Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full

For the Filling:

- Combine cream cheese, sugar, egg and chocolate chips until well blended.

- Use a tsp and drop 2 teaspoons of cream cheese filling into the center of the cupcake batter.

- Bake according to the directions on the box. Allow to cool and serve warm or cold! Personally, I love them warm!! Store in the refrigerator.
