Grilled Chicken Pesto Sub

I’m so excited to share this super easy and delicious Grilled Chicken Pesto Sub recipe! We had this for dinner the other night and it was excellent! This would be a great recipe to make if you had leftover grilled chicken and grilled vegetables!

Grilled Chicken Pesto Sub


  • 1 package of Sub Rolls
  • 1 package of fresh boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 package of Provolone Cheese
  • 1 container of Pesto
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 bell pepper


Season the chicken with seasoning of your choice. Or, marinade with your sauce of choice.

Grill the chicken and cut into chunks.

While the chicken is cooking, cut the onion and pepper into long strips and saute in the frying pan.

Spread the pesto on each sub roll. Then, top with the chicken, onions and peppers. Top with Provolone Cheese.

Place each sub roll on top of a baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes to melt the cheese and toast the rolls!
