Fit Moms for Life Workout DVD Review and Giveaway!

As a working mom, finding time to workout can be next to impossible! But, getting in shape so that I can be healthy and enjoy playing with my kids is important. So, when I got the chance to review Fit Moms for Life I was really excited. These workout DVD’s are not like your typical fitness tapes. Dustin Maher has created this workout specifically for moms.

Fit Moms for Life offers so much more than at-home workouts. These DVD’s offer nutritional facts and recipes too. Dustin has created a series of 12 DVD’s, 1 for each month for a year. Each DVD progesses from the previous one to build on what you’ve mastered the month before. The best part about it, is that the equipment is fairly inexpensive. We found the fitness ball at Walmart for only $8.77 (that’s half of others I’ve seen)! I also found a 40 lb. dumbbell set at Walmart for only $19.97! So, for less than $30 you can have your own in home workout!

Dustin’s workouts can be intense, but after a few days you can already see a difference. I definitely broke out in a sweat everytime I did the workout, but man do I feel better! I love how he takes into consideration that we’re women and moms. He’s spent all of his energy and research on tailoring his workouts just for us!

    When  I can afford a gym membership, I like the elliptical machines. But otherwise, I make do with my Wii Fit, mall walking, and in the summer, swimming, since our apt. complex has a pool.

    When I DO work out it is at home. I am a stay at home mommy of a 3 year old so normally he tries to work out with me! LOL
